Admission for Korean Language Program

Minimal Application Requirements:

The applicant must have a high school degree or an equivalent qualification

Materials to Be Submitted

  • Application form (photo attached)
  • Transcript of the highest degree held
  • Certificate of Enrollment or Graduation (if applicable)
  • Certificate of one’s service (evening class only)
  • Resume (self-introduction) in Korean or English
  • Copy of passport

Application Procedures

  • Send your application by mail. You can also visit the office to submit your application in person. An application form received after the deadline will only be processed if the maximum number of applications has not been met or if there is still time left for visa processing before the beginning of the class.
  • Applicants will receive individual notification of their acceptance to the course within a week of application.

  • Students are responsible for all the procedures associated with acquiring a student visa, but the documents needed for the visa will be sent upon request. The documents will not be given again if an applicant loses them.

  • Application fee and Tuition
    Application fee : US $100(non-refundable)
    Tuition : US $1,250(per term)
    * Application fee and tuition can be subject to change according to class
  • Method of Payment
    • In cash or postal money order, in Korean won.
    • Online payment - Tuition Fees should be paid in the name of the applicant. If this is not possible, both the name of the applicant and a copy of the receipt should be sent by fax or mail to Office of International Affairs.

Cancelling registration or receiving a refund

  • Cancelling registration or receiving a refund is only possible during the first week of the term.
  • In case the cancellation is asked for before the beginning of term because an applicant doesn't acquire a visa, 100% payment will be refunded, if the applicant brings all documents back; 70% of payment will be refunded if cancellation is during the first week.
    There will be no refunded payment after the end of the first week.
    There will be no refunded payment if the applicant gets a visa.
