Registration

  • A student accepted to the School shall pay the admission fee and the tuition by the deadline.
  • An enrolled student shall pay the tuition by the deadline.

Return of Tuition

After payment of the tuition, if a student resigns to enroll, or if a student under enrollment or under leave of absence quits a school voluntarily, the tuition is returned under the standard of the Attached Table 4.

Registration After the Years Required for Graduation

  • For registration of a student requiring any credit after the years required for graduation, a student requiring one to three credits shall pay one half of the tuition of the corresponding semester, and a student requiring four or more credits shall pay the full amount of tuition of the corresponding semester.
  • For a student completing a curriculum of degree to submit a dissertation for degree, a student shall register for a research in every semester.
  • Details of arrangement of tuition, term of semesters under registration of research applied, and elapsed time shall be set and executed by the internal policy of the Graduate School.

Leave of Absence

  • A student to leave of absence due to illness or any other unavoidable circumstance shall ask leave of absence to obtain an approval by the dean of the Graduate School.
  • A leave of absence is applied to each semester, and a term may not be more than two consecutive semesters.
  • In total, a term of leave of absence may not exceed three semesters for a master course and may not exceed five semesters for a doctoral course.
  • A leave of absence due to military service is not included in this term of leave of absence.
  • If there is any particular reason approved by the dean of the Graduate School, a student may extend a term of leave of absence overriding a term of leave of absence on the Paragraph 3.

Return to School

A person with an expired term of leave of absence shall return to the School after receiving an approval by the dean of the Graduate School by the deadline.

Voluntary Resignation from School

A student willing to resign from the School shall submit the form of resignation from school, and a student may resign from the School after an approval by the dean of the Graduate School.

Dismissal

The president of School may dismiss a student falling in any of the followings by receiving a request of dismissal by a dean of the corresponding graduate school.

  • A student who does not return to the School by the deadline after expiration of a term of leave of absence
  • A student who has not registered by the deadline in each semester
  • A student who has not applied any course within a term of registration
  • A student who may not continue studies due to illness or any other reason and who has been determined to be dismissed by the Administration Committee of the Graduate School
  • A person who has a false record of education or background
  • A person with very poor academic performance or a person who has inflicted an injury on another person
